Team Vegas Poker 24/7has spent over a year designing the most comprehensive, player-friendly poker site on the web. Our exclusive software offers many features, promotions, games, and tournaments that can be found nowhere else on the Internet.

From various sized ring games, to stellar superb graphics and features, to a full selection of online poker tournaments, we believe Vegas Poker 24/7 will be your final destination for interactive online poker.

2) How do I know that the shuffling is done fairly, and that no player can have an advantage over another by deciphering the shuffling methods?
Integrity is the most critical element of our site. Please visit the Integrity page to find out the measures we take to protect the integrity of the Vegas Poker 24/7 web site and the security of our online poker players.

3) How can I see what the online poker games look like before I join?
Easy. Simply download the software and take a look around the site. Cruise through the Main Lobby, and even watch a live game in progress.

4) When can I start playing?
Now! Simply download the software, go to the Main Lobby, and choose your game of choice. Then choose a seat by clicking on it, and select the option to create a new account. Complete the necessary information and you are ready to play.

5) Can I start with a play-money account?

6) As an online poker player, can I send feedback to the Vegas Poker 24 7 Management team?

7) What if I have questions on banking?
You should keep a copy of your transaction data, rules of the game and payment methods in order to avoid misconceptions at a later time. Please contact for any further questions you may have on the banking process.

8) Does Vegas Poker 24/7 use "burn" cards when dealing, and if not, how does this affect the odds?
Burn cards are used in live poker games in order to prevent any improper actions by the dealer, and to prevent the use of marked cards. In the online environment this is not necessary, and for this reason we have chosen not to deal burn cards. The absence of a burn card(s) does not in any way affect the randomness of the next card off the deck, or the odds of receiving a particular card during the rest of the deal. When determining the odds of cards to come, calculations are always based on the number of cards seen (dealt) vs unseen (possible to be dealt), and as such the lack of burn cards is not a factor that will affect this.
You can find out more information about our shuffling techniques by visiting our Integrity page.

  14. What happens if the server crashes during the middle of a hand?
  15. If I am disconnected and fail to return in time, what happens to my hand?

1) Now that I have joined, how do I select the online poker game I want to play?
In the Main Lobby, select the type of online poker game you would like to play by clicking on it. Appearing vertically below the game choice will be the list of available tables. Simply double-click on a table and you will be taken to the game.

2) What is the minimum buy-in?
The minimum buy-in at any Vegas Poker 24/7 table is ten times the amount of the lower betting limit in fixed games, and forty times the big blind in pot-limit and no-limit games. For example, the minimum buy-in for a $5/$10 fixed game is $50.00, and the minimum buy-in in $0.50/$1.00 Pot Limit game is $20.00.

3) Can I change seats at a table?
Yes you can. But when playing poker online, changing seats is not recommended. You are free to change seats if you wish, but you will be required to post the blinds again, just as if you were a new poker player. It is structured this way to keep players from changing seats to avoid paying blinds.

4) What does "game number" mean?
Every hand played is given a unique game number. This game number (also known as "hand number") can be used when requesting player hand histories or when there is a problem with a specific game and you would like to review a report. If there is ever a question or a problem with a particular game, note the game number and reference it when contacting us. If you missed the game number and the next game has already started, check under "Previous Game" at the top right corner of screen.

5) The online poker game I want to play in is full. What do I do?
You can add yourself to the waiting list. You will be able to see how many people are waiting for a seat at the table. When a seat comes available and your name is up, you will be notified and given the option of taking the seat.

If there are several people on the waiting list, we recommend taking a seat at a vacant table of the same limits and game, as these tables usually fill quite fast once a player sits down.

6) What happens when I run out of chips at a table?
To bring more chips to the table, simply click on the "Menu" button and select "Cashier".

7) What is your rake schedule?
Please see the rake page for a detailed look at our rake schedule.

8) How can I tell how much is in the pot?
The chips should be neatly stacked in the middle of the table and easy to identify. Also, you can move your cursor over the pot and the amount will be expressed directly above the chips.

9) How do I access my playing statistics? What information do I get?
For more information on statistics and other features click here.

10) How can I receive my hand history?
In the main lobby under the "menu" tab, select "Guest Relations" and choose "Hand History". Fill out the needed information and your requested hand history will be emailed to you automatically.

11) Can I put my own image on Vegas Poker 24/7?
Yes. In the Main Lobby under the "User" tab, select Change Image. Follow the step-by-step instructions and, in a short time, you will have your own personalized image.

12) What type of language is acceptable when using the chat?
We understand that many of our poker players reside in countries where English is not the official language. But, unfortunately, we must designate one language as the official language for the chat rooms. This is also necessary to ensure that the utmost integrity is maintained at our tables at all times.

All obscene or offensive language is prohibited from the chat. If a player cannot refrain from using abusive or obscene language, Vegas Poker 24/7 reserves the right to suspend or revoke their chat privileges as well as terminate their account.

We ask you to help us monitor the site. Please send all e-mails to regarding any and all questionable poker room activity.

13) What should I do if the game freezes or the Internet connection is lost?
This is normally caused by Internet conditions beyond our control. It is also difficult to diagnose the cause at times. Vegas Poker 24/7 has state-of-the-art software, which will attempt to re-connect and, ultimately, return players back to the same table where they were last seated. If you are in the middle of a hand that you have bet into and cannot return within the allotted time limit, the software is designed to put you All-in for that hand. Sometimes it is difficult to diagnose the cause of the interruption, but through our Hand History function, you will be able to refer back to what happened during the hand that was interrupted. In the case that your hand was the winning hand, you win the main pot of that game and it will show in your medallion.

14) What happens if the server crashes during the middle of a hand?
In the unlikely event of a server crash during a game, Vegas Poker 24/7 will restore all poker player accounts to what they were at the time of the interruption. If a player's last hand of play was completed, the player account will have been updated as individual player transactions are posted to accounts after completion of every hand.

15) If I am disconnected and fail to return in time, what happens to my hand?
In the rare case a real-money player cannot return in time to finish play, the hand will automatically be All-in. Each player will be given one all-in per day due to the unlikely case that the player is disconnected without being reestablished in time. If the player has already used their daily all-in and they do not return to the table in time, their hand will automatically be folded. Play-money tables offer an unlimited number of All-in plays.

Technical Questions

  1. Who can answer my technical questions?
  2. What do I do if I get a message telling me that my screen resolution must be 800x600 or that my 256 colors are not enough?
  3. If I am connected to the Internet through a proxy server or a firewall, what do I need to do in order to play?
  4. Can more than one family member in the same household have an account?
  5. Can I Play on a Mac system?
  6. I'm having problems getting connected. What can I do?

1) Who can answer my technical questions?
We offer 24-hour customer service to help you with any technical problems or questions you might have. Please contact us at

2) What do I do if I get a message telling me that my screen resolution must be 800x600 or that my 256 colors are not enough?
With your mouse, right-click on any open space on your computer's desktop and select "Properties" from the menu that pops up. Select "Settings" from the toolbar at the top right. From there, you will be able to set both the screen resolution and the number of colors being displayed. The next setting up from 256 colors is good enough; that will give you over 65,000 colors (16-bit). The next setting above 640x480 is 800x600, which is also good enough, but you may want to try different settings to see what looks best to you.

3) If I am connected to the Internet through a proxy server or a firewall, what do I need to do in order to play?
Our software makes two TCP connections, to ports 6900 ~ 9000. Whoever maintains the firewall configuration (usually your network administrator) should be able to use that information to allow the software to connect to our server.

4) Can more than one family member in the same household have an account?
Yes! Each Vegas Poker 24 7 Player is only allowed one player account. If more than one person per household wants to play, you will need to contact management for assistance to set up the accounts. Two people can play at the same time from the same household, but not at the same table. This is a way to ensure collusion is not occurring.

5) Can I Play on a Mac system?
Directions for playing on a Mac system can be found at Virtual PC .

6) I'm having problems getting connected. What can I do?
Please e-mail for assistance.
